For the first time ever I have no desire to possess any other phone.

I agree with all of you...I got my Evo a month after launch, and it is my constant companion. I still love to show everyone what it can do, because it still amazes me at what it can do!:D
I don't know how it can be topped, quite honestly.

I've had an Evo for a couple days, and I must say I am loving this device more than the Droid X that it's replacing.

I agree as well. Every other smartphone I have owned the "honeymoon" stage only lasts a month or so. I have had the Evo for going on 5 months now and the phone amazes me everyday. I really have stretched the limits with this thing, it is my phone, point and shoot camera, always-handy camcorder, DEDICATED gps navigation unit (Google nav blows my garmin outta the water), portable media center (I love slacker), messaging device, and I even use it to process credit cards for my business.

Loving it, I am an extremely happy camper with this phone, ESPECIALLY after I invested in the seidio 3500 extended battery. Can't imagine it could get much better, just getting impatient waiting for a decent video chat app, and netflix.

The only way I would even consider another phone is if they come out with a EVO 2 lol. I always been one of them people that got a new phone every yr....not sure about that now. I really don't see Sprint coming out with anything that is better than my EVO right now. Hopefully they prove me wrong though lol...lol.

I'm about to become a two evo household, was thinking about getting the wife a transform but she didn't like it, she then looked at the epic and decided she didn't care for that. So after playing with the evo she fell in love with it...... Don't care for another evo tax but what the hell......... lol

Just bought one for Wifey as well, mainly because she wanted an ebook reader. She loves it, except that she can't stand the fact that I video call her everyday. :)

I'm a truckdriver, I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to that feature...... lol ;-) since you brought it up, what do you use for evo to evo video chat?

I use Tango. The newest version seems to have much less battery drain, has good video, and doesn't have the "walked talkie" button that Qik has. It's also cross-platform, if you have any iPhone 4 friends.

I've had my Evo since launch day and I am in love with this phone! Since Feb 2008 I have gone through six smartphone devices and this is the one that has everything that I need/want/use on a daily basis. Two co-workers purchased the Evo after seeing mine in the break room every day and two others are about to buy it as well.

The only downside, if you can call it a downside, is that the guy who usually buys my used smartphones is ticked off that I'm not already talking about my next phone purchase and that he'll have to pay full price to get an Evo!

One thing also, the Evo has set a new standard for what I'll even consider replacing it for: large screen, fast and responsive, Android, and front facing video camera.

I'm a person who does not ever want to stick to something since there's always something better. The Evo on the other hand is the ONLY exception (well, besides my Sennheiser HD800s). This phone has eternally satisfied me which I had previously thought that could never happen.
