For the price, V20 is not worth it.

Is anything we purchase actually "worth it"??

A M3 sedan goes for over $100k fully optioned when a Honda Civic for a quarter of the price can get you to Point A to Point B just as well.

For the price of a La Perla thong for $200 one can purchase dozens and dozens of undies from Target?

A V20 for $900 I think falls into this same bucket of a M3 and La Perla underwear imho.

There's consumers who will stomach the price and make the purchase and there's others who will not. It's that consumer's choice how and what to buy with their hard earned money.

I don't understand why there's a question of whether or not the V20 is worth it since it's obvious that it is...... since many folks had did indeed purchase it.

I.... myself feel it is but then again I feel the same way about my M3 and La Perla items.

200 dollar underwear????????? You need a gold plated V20 to go with those...

I have an LG V20 and I do not think it would be worth it at $830. However, because of the promotions that LG worked with various retailers, that is not the price I had to pay. I dug through a drawer found an old smartphone and turned it in for $200 credit. I only paid $630. I personally think that is why it is so high. They are able to sell it to people who are ok with the higher price, and for those that do a little work, they get it cheaper. I am very happy with my $630 phone.

And ironically it's because of some of those promotions that they now mysteriously have none of the Verizon model... LOL

Former Note 7 user.

I just don't get it. $830 and it's not even water resistant. It's an LCD screen! The battery doesn't last as long as it IDEALLY should for a phablet. The camera is good, but not great. The keyboard is a nightmare to use.

I've owned Samsungs, HTC's, and nearly every brand in between. I bought this phone after reading and watching reviews, and I remained skeptical. I bought it because I thought it would be something that would grow on me. I went to the Note 7 forum and noticed a lot of former users jumped on the V20 wagon.

I don't get it. What is everyone seeing in this phone that I don't? If this thing were maybe in the $600's, I'd say that's a solid deal. But this thing is being marketed and sold as an $830 device, and it certainly doesn't feel like one to me.

I'm looking into the mate 8 / mate 9. Those look like awesome phones if I can deal with the 1080p screen.

Considering all the V20 is, I think its pricing is not too far off, considering its flagship competition.

Yep, same here, the V20 is a great phone. I'm tired of all the V20 bashing, if you don't like the phone go get something else and post about your love of that phone in their forum.
The trouble is, for a LOT of us, there is NO phone out right now that we would "love". Still the V20 may be the best option available. That wouldn't preclude me complaining about weaknesses. Heck, I had some serious gripes about the Note 7 too! The external speaker was brutally bad.

As for the price? The VZW price is fine imo. It's kind of a bargain really. When does the free headphones deal expire?

I returned my beloved S6 Edge+ yesterday to AT&T and received $200 back towards my account with the LG promotion!

So for the most part my V20 is about $649 not including tax which I'm so so okay with yaaay!!!

That's great but its good to have a spare too. Do ya?

I still somewhere in my drawers have my HTC M7 which I will use as a last resort backup!?!!?

It's always good to have some kind of backup I know!

I think the Note 7 horrible speaker is the price you pay for waterproof... but it wasn't so good...
