For the s21 Ultra, is it impossible that my nails would scratch the camera????

It is glass so there's always a chance of scratches. If you're talking straight nail, no extension, false nail or gem implants, it's highly unlikely. Having said I've had gorilla glass scratch with a coin, which shouldn't be possible.

I guess I have to ask, does your camera lens have a scratch? What makes you believe it's from your nail?

It would be far more likely that it was scratched by something else and went unnoticed until you felt it or noticed it than something like a nail would cause a scratch.

Unless your real name is Yuriko Oyama, it's pretty much impossible for a fingernail to scratch tempered glass.

The area around the lens is a different story, as they chose to paint it for some reason.

Welcome to Android Central! How do you normally carry your phone -- in a pocket or purse? It's much more likely that something else in there caused the scratch. Or if you don't have a good case that helps protect the camera bump, it would seem pretty easy for the glass to get scratched by various surfaces you put the phone on.
