For the Samsung Galaxy watch, Is there a way to keep theock face on while charging? cl

Hello, I recently upgraded my watch from the Moto 360 v2 to the Samsung Galaxy Watch but when I dock this Samsung Galaxy watch it turns off after a few seconds. I want it to stay in clock mode while docked since I need this to show the time in my office.

In settings, I have the display as always on, I called Samsung they said it would not do this natively but I could download a 3rd party utility to do it but they couldn't tell me which one.

I'm seriously considering returning this watch because of this

Download I Am Alive from Galaxy Apps link : You will be taken to Galaxy Apps.

The watch knows when it's on the charging dock and turns off the display accordingly. If you install the I Am Alive app on the watch you can used the app toggle to keep the watchface active. I added an app shortcut to the settings shortcut widget for easier access.

Is it that "feature" so important that you would return the arguably the best smart watch available?

I find it particularity mystifying when the whole "problem" could be sorted with a £2 LCD desk clock or taking a peek at the bottom right hand side of you pc screen.

Or plan a bit and charge the watch when you are asleep not at the office when you need it on your wrist.
