$5 for a car dock is not a bad deal at all. I ordered two, one for the gf and one for myself.

S3 fits, there are videos in the thread. Cases don't fit, maybe the skin tight ones do. It looks like you need to buy the micro usb car charger separate. It does have audio out.

Went to the local AT&T store and snagged one for $5. The phone fits pretty well, although the cutout at the top for the 3.5mm audio jack is on the wrong side. And as noted in the video, it's necessary to cut a hole for the rear speaker.
Unfortunately, it tells you to download 'Samsung Car Home' from the Google Play Store, but it's not shown. When I look online without logging in there are a bunch of different versions, each for a different phone model. Why the hell Samsung doesn't make one version for all phones is beyond me.
Anyway, when I connect the phone in the dock it activates Car Mode; not really sure what the difference between that and Driving Mode is - time for more research.

You should give CarHome Ultra a try from the Google Play market. If the dock starts car mode, CHU will start automatically if it's installed.

I ordered mine when I saw the notice on Android Police, 2 weeks ago now? I got two conformation emails, one of which said I'd been charged and the dock was shipping to me. About a week later I get another email saying that the order was canceled and that I was refunded, sorry for your troubles. WTF? That's not cool.

I called AT&T to see what was up, apparently that dock was back ordered to the tune of 7000 docks. AT&T canceled orders as they simply didn't have enough in stock. I expressed my displeasure with the fact that I got to the site, it was available, I was confirmed and charged then ultimately refunded. I was given a $100 credit to my account for the trouble! So I tried to buy a closeout dock for $5.30 shipped and ended up with $100 in credit, not bad I'd say. Though I still want the dock...

Car more does start when pluged into the
dock only thing is I can't seem to get the audio out to work yet.

I purchased the car dock and the home dock, both $5 each. I had to shave maybe 1/32th off an inch the inside of the home dock and it works perfect. Oh yeah the home dock comes with a Samsung wall charger.
