For those who cancelled order...what would change your mind?

Would a price drop or a software update to adjust the display colors to your liking change your mind? I would love a complete screen replacement to eliminate the blue tint but seeing as that is unrealistic, I think if they fixed the colors I would definitely reconsider.

I preordered the Pixel 2 XL, but canceled it when the display issues were brought to light. The first thing Google needs to do is drop LG. LG makes terrible phones and screens. They're not going to help Google in the long run.

The second thing that needs to be done, and this is related to the first, is fix the burn-in issues. Again, burn-in should NOT happen only after a week after moderate use. Burn-in/image retention, whatever it's called, is inexcusable on a $950 device after only a week.

If Google fixes those two issues, then I may reconsider getting one.

I don't know. Considering that I bought a phone slightly less than the Pixel 2 I pre-ordered was, it might have been different if I didn't try that first.

Google can't fix the display because all the Samsung quality OLED panels are being used by Samsung and Apple. Tune in next year for a better display.
