Sometimes my Samsung Galaxy A31 doesn't pick up that I've plugged in the aux cable on Android 12.
I have to unplug the other end and plug it in and out registers the aux, then I can switch it atoms again and it recognises that the original end is plugged in (it's a long cable wrapped around the phone dock).
This doesn't always work.
Is there a way to tell it manually to output to aux?
I found on business insider with developer options enabled a "media output" button appears in the notifications found by swiping down from the top of the screen, but if * it works for media, it just says "no media playing" when trying to use for a phone call.
*I tried testing for media playback but as I've just finally got it to work, I can't see how it would appear if it wasn't currently outputting to the aux cable.
