Forced Reboot

I got home today to an unresponsive Xoom. It would not power up, or even take a charge. A quick Google search led me to the Up Volume/Power Button forced reboot solution. It worked, but I am wondering if there is a known cause for the device locking up, and if there is a solution, other than performing a forced reboot every time this happens.

Yeah, it's a new OS... the kinks will get worked out, just restart it every 2-3 days and you shouldn't see anymore lockups. You'll just have to wait for Google to start patching memory leaks and for developers to fix coding. Usually problems like this arise from poorly coded apps running in the background.
