Forgot my PIN but can access my phone via fingerprint

Hello!

I forgot my lock screen PIN. I can still access my phone via fingerprint but can't change my fingerprint settings because they require my PIN. How can I solve this?

Factory reset from the recovery menu? That's a difficult one as the pin is always needed and seems to take priority over fingerprint. I'm not sure you can even reboot your phone as you need the pin to access it first time after starting up

Doesn't Android device manager let you retrieve or change PIN remotely? Not sure.

How do you forget your PIN #?

I would do a complete backup and then factory reset. I prefer Samsung's over Google's as I've never had good luck with Google's restore functionality.
