Forgotten Password

So my daughter changed the password on her Nexus and promptly forgot it, or perhaps mistyped it when she created it, as she is certain of the one we are trying. Anyway, hoping there is some way to get into the phone without a hard reset. I seem to recall being able to a while back on a Sprint SII.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I'm afraid not, that's the point in protecting your data to not allow access without a password, unless you do a reset and wipe the data off. At least as far as I know. You can try calling Verizon and/or Google in desperation, perhaps in the store they might have a method to help if you can show that it's your phone and you're the account owner but I do doubt it.

Well, I figured as much. Just seems like I recall some workaround with a previous Sammy, so I thought I'd ask. Main thing she lost was a couple months worth of pictures. Hopefully this will be a learning experience for my girl.
