Forgotten security lock

I upgraded to a Galaxy Note and I have really actually forgotten the security lock on the Galaxy S4. Is there anyway to by-pass it without deleting everything? I would hate to lose all my photos & music still on there.

Login to android device manager with your Google account via a PC and change the lock code there.. It will then change on the device.
