Sadly, Samsung has simply dumped Note 9 denying us up to date security updates.

I really like my Note 9 as a back up device. Is there any security suite software that can make my Note 9 secure from threats that arose after Sammy dumped its Note 9 users? It's such a powerful device it is crazy to just throw it away.

Unless someone makes a custom OS for it based off the newest versions and security patches, nope. That being said, most of the security patches are rarely exploited lest you are prone to sideloading from less-than-reputable sources. If you use your device 'normally', you are, for the most part, still safe.

I certainly would be too concerned to install any convenient bank account management apps, though. My Note 9 is locked down like Fort Knox anyway so I cannot flash a new OS. Lineage OS might have been fun to try but I haven't rooted any devices since the old HTC phones.
