Hello everyone! I had a Blackberry Curve 8520 before getting a G2. The Blackberry was cool but very boring. Blackberry is boring in general. The App World does not compare to the Market. Market has a lot more free apps and games than Appworld. I've had this G2 for almost a month now and its amazing! I love it soo much. I just wish the battery didn't drain so much and I wish I was able to root it. I even bought my boyfriend the same phone and unlocked it for him since he has AT&T :)

Dude, same here. My White BB 8520 finally gave out on me the other day and my friend threw me this g2. It's such a major upgrade, but **** attempting to root it is annoying. Let me know if you find anything. Thanks!

New here as well after about 4 years of Blackberry Curves. Ordered a Motorola Triumph from Amazon and it's arriving tomorrow. Trying to wrap my head around ALL the info thats out there for these devices but it seems too "techy" for me. I'm used to apps like ESPN, NFL, FACEBOOK, PANDORA, EBAY, WEATHERBUG, etc. and just hope that the larger screen, upgraded camera, and Android systems are noticeably better than what I had with Blackberry.

My thoughts are to activate the phone tommorrow, try to get an updated version of 2.3 installed, overclock a bit, and then figure out settings, apps, etc that help performance, battery life, ease of use. Hope this forum helps me accomplish those objectives. Thanks to all the really sharp people out there that have created these "mods"
