Former Pre User in the fold

And now the Pre feels like smartphone training wheels. My Pre cracked this weekend so I used my upgrade to go EVO. I loved the potential of WebOS, the follow through sucked.

I was googling the questions I had and came across the forum. I am sure that with enough searching I can figure out how to get Shoutcast working (Google tells me it is a Froyo thing) and get the pause button on my Bluetooth headphones to pause the BeyondPod podcast and not start WinAmp playing at the same time.

I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Nexus S since the Pre 3 won't be coming to the US. I've used my wife's My Touch before and to say that I'm apprehensive about switching to Android is an understatement. Unfortunately HP has left me no choice. I sure hope all the available apps and killer hardware are true to their billing because the actual OS that is Android doesn't hold a candle to webOS in my opinion. :'(
