Forum Email Question

I am curious as to why I am still receiving email notifications to a previous email address I used to use on here?

On the old incorrect email address the emails have To unsubscribe from this thread, please visit a page and a link is provided, so I wonder if I were to use that link, would that then unsubscribe to the thread just for that email address or would it unsubscribe fully even for the correct email address that I had already changed it to?

I have checked my current email address in settings and it is correct and I do get the notifications there, so why am I receiving them in two different addresses?
