FORUM GAME: Zombie Apocalypse - What do you do next?

You open the window, lob your stuff in, and climb in the window. You see a person in a chair, with a bite on their shoulder. They have a bullet wound in the head. You see the gun beside him, and a box with 3 rounds of 9mm ammo.

Do you pick up the gun and ammo or explore further?

You decide to take the gun. It will definitely be useful. At that point you notice that night is falling in earnest.

A) find a new place to settle down for the night?
OR
B) remain in this house despite it being compromised?

Deciding to risk staying, you go looking for something to bar the window with. While looking down a hall you see two doors, both closed. One on the right. The other, left.

You open the left door. It leads to a basement. You creep cautiously down the stairs. You see several wooden planks and nails. You carry them up trip by trip hammering them into the frame of the broken window as quietly as possible before returning for more. After that's done you sweep the house for hostiles. It's safe. You decide to sleep. You're awakened by moaning outside you pull the gun and creep to the window. There must be 15 zombies outside in the front yard.

What's your first move?

You head deeper into the house and find a set of stairs. You head up the stairs, and find 5 doors to 5 different rooms.

Which room do you enter first?

You enter the second room. A storage room. There is plenty of stuff to barricade a door with, and also a few knives.

Do you pick up materials to barricade a door or a knife?

After sleeping for a while, you notice something dripping on your face... Something sticky... You open your eyes and notice blood dripping from the ceiling.

I decided to check what's up there.I somehow managed to reach upstairs. There I found a room . I can hear some murmuring sound. I decided to

You knock on the door, and there is no answer. You continue to here the murmuring. You slowly open the door and see a little girl sitting on the floor. She has her face in her knees and is holding her knees while rocking back and fourth.

You walk up to the the girl to see if you can comfort her?

You slowly back out of the room and close the door?

You stand frozen. The girl is around 8 with long dark hair and large eyes. You want to help but your survival instincts win out. You close the door softly and eventually wake to sunlight.

You go downstairs and search for some food in the refrigerator. You bag up the food you find, and head out the door. You walk out into the street.

You start down the paved road. You keep walking and walking, and eventually you enter a small city that looks like it is completely deserted. You realize that you are running out of water, and because it is a hot day and you are sweating, you are concerned that you will run out soon.

You see a deserted Super Market up ahead, but you know that without power, there are no lights, or refrigeration, so the store will be dark, smelly, and hot. You know also that Zombies like to hide in the dark during the day...

Do you go into the abandoned Super Market for water, food, and supplies?

Or do you continue to walk down the street in hopes of finding either a Quick Mart or Gas Station store where you might find water and supplies?

You see a deserted Super Market up ahead, but you know that without power, there are no lights, or refrigeration, so the store will be dark, smelly, and hot. You know also that Zombies like to hide in the dark during the day...

You start towards the supermarket. There might be something. It turns out to be something more akin to a general store. Just inside the door there's three zombies inside. You pull the Beretta, crack it twice two drop. You have one round left. Deciding to save it you pull your knife. You're about to plunge it into the withered old man's jugular vein. Just then Sandy clamps her jaws around his knee. You grab a screwdriver from the counter where it looks like it was used to unstick the cash register drawer. You stick the man to the floor by penetrating his shoulder. Behind the counter you find a bloody double barrel 12 Guage shotgun and 14 extra shells. This place must be close to the initial point of infection or the store owner would have used more than one shot. There's a half gallon of water, a can of peaches, a can of pork and beans, and a stale bagel. Dinner and breakfast. You decide to settle in a run down motel room for the night. Inside is the little girl from the house. What do you do?
