I visit AC often, and there have been many, many times I have received great advice/help. And I am grateful to everyone who has helped.

One thing I don't understand, if I post a question about an issue I am having, I tend to get reply after reply of people telling me they have not experienced the issue I am having, while I am happy they are not having the problem I am, its not necessary to post this.

When people are looking for a solution, getting multiple replies from people "not having that issue" is not helpful at all.

I honestly do not mean to come off as ungrateful, but I am sure I am not the only one to see someone replied to a post, and have that brief moment of "yes, maybe this is a solution" only to be another person telling me they aren't having the issue..

If I am being nit picky, I apologize ahead of time.

Thanks for allowing me to vent.

I fully agree with what ouve said, more often than not it just seems like an easy way to bump up the post count.

just a "nope i dont get that" great....

still its how most forums work I guess

I don't have a problem with people not having a solution to answering a problem so I can't comment ;)

I hear ya, never understood this ... the worst is when people ask a question about how people like a certain phone or whatever, and people come in with "I don't have an S6 but ..."

I think it is helpful so we can gauge how widespread the issue is. Often if is not widespread which means it is probaby something specific with that device.

Also a fresh reboot everyday prevents so many issues. It is confusing to me why so many are against doing it or do not do it.

A fresh boot a day keep the bugs away!

I reboot each and everyday. Also, knowing how widespread an issue is, doesn't really matter in the situation I am talking about. Many people here have and do ask ask if anyone is experiencing such and such issue, in this instance, cool. But when someone specifically asks if anyone can assist in figuring out a problem, that is where the issue is.

A problem might be specific to one device, but the person posting may not know how to clear cache partition, and stop and restart an app..etc

50 replies of "nope" or "not having issue" is so redundant and counter productive.

Not necessarily on this forum, but on many others that I've been part of over the years ... the replies of "No issue here" are a normal thing. Yes, it can get annoying, but I always try to remember that it's good to know if my issue is common, or isolated. It also allows you to know who you might want to ask about their settings that might be associated with the issue you're having - because sometimes you find out (for example) if you just adjust a certain setting, the problem goes away.

I never try to feel like people are flaunting the fact that their phone works perfectly, while yours is giving you grief. You can tell sometimes if someone is being a jerk about things, but most of the time people are just trying to chime in letting you know (again) if the issue is common or not.

To me, the only frustrating thing is when you find out that you are basically the only one with the issue, because 99% of the posts/replies are people letting you know that they don't have the same issue you do. That's not a 'people problem' ... that's just frustration born from the fact that it's an isolated issue, and nobody else has/had that issue and may know the solution so that they can help you.

Just try not to let it bother you. People are generally just trying to help, even if it means letting you know that you may be the only one with the problem you're asking about.

Nope, doesn't bother me...lol! ;)

Without those replies, your post on an s6 forum might land on page 3 by days end. I understand the thing you have trouble with, but as others have stated, it's a forum thing. Unavoidable. The silver lining is your original request being on page 1 for an extended period of time.
