Is Fox News FC'ing for anyone? I've tried clearing data and cache with no luck. I've also tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling and still force closes on launch. Any thoughts?

Also, I noticed when I got home from the VZW store all my apps were installed or so it seemed. What process automatically installed all my old apps? I noticed then not all the apps I had installed on my DInc were on my Bolt so I'm not sure what sync process was in the works and how it determined what apps to install. That was a nice surprise though as I thought I would have to install all my apps manually!

I've seen the same issues on my Samsung Epic 4g running Froyo. I sent a note to Fox News (mobile@foxnews.com) complaining about my issues, but have yet to get a response from them. I've also tried clearing data, cache, uninstalling, and still no luck.

Is it only happening on 4G? My Best Buy app works fine on 3G but the minute I switch to 4G it force closes.

Yea, I have the same issue. The app would force close every few times I opened it on my OG, but I can't even get it to open on the Tbolt without it happening. Hopefully they'll release an update soon. It's been a while since they've released an update in the market.

Same on my Tbolt. I have a buddy with a Desire on USCellular and it does the same thing to him.

I think FOX broke it on purpose because of that new paper they are going to be bringing to android called The Daily

There is no way this is an accident...they broke the app and won't respond to emails and the update that trashed the app was done MONTHS ago(Feb 7 to be exact)

I would have bought The Daily no questions asked but if this app is not fixed by the time the daily paper is released, I won't be buying jack.

If you set your TB's power profile to "Fair and Balanced", then you can fool your TB into running the Faux News app. Otherwise it will crash.

Oh wait that's right. No one likes Fox because they tell it like it is and not (like somewhere else) tell us what big brother tells them to tell us.

That's what i'm talkin' about. You get a BIG thanks for that one. You got the "No one" wrong though. Fox crushes EVERY other news program.....for a reason. ;)

Having said that, i'm gonna download the app now. :)

Play nice guys : ) we should all respect each others choices and not chastise people for choosing certain things. We have enough of this nonsense in the world lets leave it at the door here at AC.

Sent from my Droid

I have a radio app that force closes when I'm on 4G. But I have no problems with it when I connect via WiFi.

FYI, I had to get a new Samsung Epic (refurb) and it came preloaded with EC05 Froyo. On that level the Fox News app works like a charm. Must have been something with DK28.
