FoxFi not working?

Just got the Z last night and am trying to get FoxFi to work. I keep getting an error message about latest phone update not allowing wifi mode. Am I doing something wrong?

Are you trying to connect some other computer to your phone (tethering)? Most carriers no longer allow that unless you have a tethering account.

This. It should work if you have tethering on your plan. If not I would contact Verizon.
