Foxfi won't change my location

I use foxfi on my droid bionic to provide my N7 with internet. Shortly after I got the tablet I went to Vegas and used foxfi to connect my Nexus. I'm back in Idaho now but when I use foxfi Google Now shows me location cards for Vegas and weather for Paradise, CA. Am I doing something wrong? Anybody else having this problem? What can I do to fix it?

(I'm posting this here because it deals with Google Now....although it could be a product of foxfi)

You do know that the tablet has gps built in, right? It doesn't need an internet connection to figure out where you are. Google Now figures out where you spend time and provides pertinent information to you based on that.

On that note, I have no idea how to delete previous location info from Google Now. It did give you a choice as to whether to allow it to track your location. Since you chose to let it, it now thinks you spend at least some of your time in Vegas and would be interested in weather for that location. I assume that it will get smarter if you don't spend much more time in Vegas in the future and will not show you info on Sin City. :p

If wifi's not connected, it won't show any cards. I even tried to go to Google Maps (with foxfi connected) until it pulled up my location, bit then when I went back to Google Now it pulled up Paradise, CA again,

Foxfi does the same to me. My harebrained theory was that once I was on Foxfi I was now longer using GPS for location so it was showing the cell tower I was connected to. But Idaho to CA blows that theory away

It doesn't show cards if wifi is not connected because it needs internet access to download the content on the cards. It can track your location anytime though.

Do you have location on in settings on you G7?

Settings, Accounts and then location have both checked.

Yes location is on.....all three of them.

It probably set your home to LV since you spent so much time there with it right after you got it. You can reset it through google maps. Reset home and work for Google Now @ xda

Thank you. That allowed me to set my work location. My home location was already correct because i use my home wifi. I think the problem is actually with foxfi. I am going to try to clear cache and saved data in foxfi to see if that will help.
