I emailed the people of FoxFi a few weeks ago when I upgraded to JB as I was devastated when I found out it no longer worked. Received an email today from their support department today which said "if it is the Verizon version of Galaxy Nexus with Jelly Bean, it should start working today (no reinstall needed). Sure enough, I checked and it works!! GREAT NEWS!!!

I also emailed them when the update broke FoxFi. Thrilled when I got the email saying it would now work.

Tried it as well after seeing this post but it is also activating built in wifi tethering as well and if I disable verixon/jellybean one foxfi stays running but I cant see or connect to it.
Which defeats the purpose if big red see's that I am using it.

Well, I just got a response back from FoxFi, "Nothing changed. You still don't need a tether plan. Just ignore the icon." Seems like they are pretty sure about it. I'm still not that comfortable though. I have contacted PDAnet and am awaiting a response from them to see if it may be something on their end.

I like Foxfi. I'm glad it's working again.

I only wish they'd remember that I had wifi on when I start FoxFi and then turn it back on when I stop FoxFi.

Works great for me...

it was working yesterday...but today it stopped working...same behavior as all the other apps...it works for a second then no internet at all....
