While using Foxfi do you have to disable the 3g/4g connection? I have it on but not sure if I need to disable anything.

Why would you run it if you aren't connecting?

Yes, it definitely wears down the battery.

Only use it if you actually are connecting another device. It is going to drain your battery quickly. But I always connect mine to a charger if i can when tethering

Correction: FoxFi uses 4G OR 3G to broadcast a wifi hotspot. Not all of us have the glory of 4G you know...
