I ordered through tmobile , will they offer it to tmobile customers?

The person I spoke to at TMO had no idea regarding free ear buds and said he thinks it was only through Samsung but I heard Best Buy offers them. Not sure about other carriers.

Most carrier reps are clueless. You will be able to get them once you have the phone. It's not a carrier promotion it's a Samsung one and anyone who orders the phone before the 8th qualifies.

My S8+ came with the Samsung Shop app installed. You will need to create a Samsung account, you can do this before you get your phone on Samsung.com.

They usually ask for a copy of your contract, which has the date of purchase on it.

Talked to Sammy this morning. For all carrier preorders, you have to wait until you get the device, download the 'Shop Samsung' app and apply for the promotion. It'll run from 3/3 - 4/4.

I've done several of these pre-order/promotions, I normally submit the promotion form the first day I get my phone and I will usually receive the gift in about 3 weeks. You will not be able to submit the promotion form until you have your new phone in your hands as you have to enter information from it (I believe it's a copy of your order so they can verify the order date, the IMEI number and the MAC address). If you order directly from Samsung then you may get your buds along with your phone; not positive about that. It's a pretty good deal though, so far I've gotten two 256GB micro SD cards, VR head set and the wireless AKG over the ear headphones which are surprisingly pretty good.

That's because you pre-ordered direct from Samsung (same as me). Those that pre-ordered from Samsung get the buds as part of the initial order and they will ship with the phone unless they run out of buds and they go on back-order.

Those pre-ordering anywhere else (BestBuy, Verizon, etc.) have to obtain their phone, then once they have the phone in-hand, go to the Samsung App and request the free buds.

I was told by a rep that it will be the same whether you get it from Samsung or not. I originally ordered through Samsung but cancelled and pre-ordered with Best Buy. Was a bit cheaper and I can pick up the phone on the 8th.
