I download the Zedge app this morning, installed and opened it. About 5 porn sites opened - I was pissed! It's a shame they have to stoop to this level to post porn ads. I uninstalled the app.

Weird. I have no explanation for this recent behavior some people are experiencing but I will say it's not typical for Zedge. I can only hope they can get a better grip on their sources.

The developer is answering the complaints of porn saying they themselves do not approve of it and are trying to locate the advertiser doing it.

Ah. Like many free aps they use rotating ads for income. Seems they've got a rogue to weed out. I think I'll shoot them an email as well to give 'em a little more impetus.

EDIT: Email sent & would encourage anyone else interested to do the same. Developers need input.

Good move going online and explaining what the issue is. Glad it's fixed! My kids use Zedge and these shenanigans would be unacceptable.
