freeing up space on my tablet - any suggestions?

Hi,

I am trying to free up space on the tablet - right now says "Total Space 16GB", "System Memory 4.21GB", "Miscellaneous files 7.97GB", "used space 3.43GB", "Cached data 148KB", and "Available space 407MB".
I have moved everything I can to the SD card. Any ideas?

I turned off all of the Syncing parts on my tablet - Calendar, Contacts, Internet, Scrapbook, and Dropbox. (The Google Calendar would not sync anyway, and figured I would do the others too to see if I could clear up space on the tablet.)

When I go to Storage, and look in Miscellaneous files, I still see 6.40GB in DocumentSync. Any ideas why?

And, do I need cloudagent?

Thanks, Maggie

FYI, when you "turn off" bloatware, it's not removing it from the device completely. It may free up SOME space when the updates get uninstalled so that it can be turned off, but the app is not completely removed. You likely won't see a significant increase in free space, though it will certainly clean up your apps menu.

True but if you make sure that automatic updating is switched off then in theory the app shouldn't re-install itself or any updates. I found that I managed to 'free' up nearly 1Gb of space just by disabling some of the built in apps that I won't use.

If you have a micro sd card in your tablet some apps can be moved to an sd but not all. Maybe by doing that you will free up some of the memory.
