Hi my LG g3 has recently started semi freezing when the ram gets low. As in I can still use the app I just opened but the home and other such buttons will light up when touched but do nothing. Has anyone else experienced this. I am ROOTED but have not installed anything in a long time.

Do you have the 2 GB or 3 GB RAM version? What are you using that is taking up that much RAM? My Nexus 5 hardly every goes above 1 GB of RAM usage (out of 2 GB total).

I have e the 3gb version. I'm not sure what it is. Is there any good apps the tell me how much ram each app is using over a period of time?

I think what's more important is how much RAM is being used at one time. If the phone is slowing down, go to Settings>Apps>Running, and look at the RAM usage there.

Wow. It'd be interesting to see what apps are residing in your RAM at that time. You say you're rooted, but are you still running the stock ROM? Any tweaks to the system?

I am using xposed for g3 tweakbox and a module to hide certain notifications As well as greenify.

I have the same problem too but I have done several tweaks as well as being rooted.
I have removed carrier iq as well as a huge list of bloatware.
Some developer options turned completely off.
Other tweaks done from the hidden menu like High Temperature Property OFF (switched to ON)
Thermal Daemon Mitigation OFF (switched to ON) and framerate selected to 60 fps but noticed the lags and restarts after this one.
Seems like the LG G3 was laggy from the beginning and after all the tweaks still has issues.
