Freezing

I have done that and back. It's really not easy to see whether it will or not because the problem shows itself when opening app/any app and in safe mode that's just not possible.

I do understand Mustang but since all issues are connected to the apps either third party or pre-installed, I do not see how that can help, moreso when I disable that altogether. However, i will as you suggested and see the outcome.

This mode eliminates 3rd party apps from running , so if it doesn't freeze when your in this mode it's from 3rd party app , so if you have a app that think is causing it, uninstall and check if it's ok.

I just bought OP6T last week after giving away my Galaxy 8 phone away, I am seriously regretting because majority of my applications either refuses to open or freezes and I have to restart the device. I updated the software to the latest but to no avail. Please help me on how to fix this issue. Thanks very much.

You're a good friend giving away your S8. Did you get ALL your apps from the Playstore?

Yes, from the store. I gave it to my daughter and I bet she wouldn't swap with the OP6T

Yep, it's factory reset time. I would not restore anything.
