Does frequent installation and removal of mods damage the mod/phone or cause undue wear and tear. I've been removing my battery mod a bit to show people and on occasion to slim the phone down.

I don't have a Moto, but mechanical and electrical connections wear. I would not think connections in something that small would be very robust. FWIW.

I would think that by the very nature of the mods they shouldn't be damaged or damage the phone. Wanted to hear from someone that has had the z for a while and used mods to see if my assumption is right

The magnets that hold the Mods in place should not wear out with removal and installation. The connector pins might over time, but if you pull the Mod straight off, as recommended, and don't let it slide around during removal I don't see those pins wearing out with normal use for a long time

So the wireless style shell I got didn't quite fit right. It left a slight gap and I was trying to remedy this by removing the shell and putting back on with slight changes to the angle of application. All in all I gave up and decided to just go as is with the phone bare. I honestly don't care if the shell is worn/damaged. And I don't really plan on using more mods. Can any other functions be affected if the pins we're damaged?
