Friendmoji not working on Snapchat?

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy S8. I have both the Bitmoji app and the Snapchat app, with my Bitmoji linked to my Snapchat account. Up until a few days ago, I was able to send friendmojis through Snapchat. Now, I am unable to send friendmojis. The keyboard I am currently using is Gboard - this keyboard also has a little globe in the bottom left that transfers me to a Bitmoji keyboard. Up until a few days ago, I was able to send Bitmojis through this keyboard through text, but the little globe on the left is new. I am still able to send Bitmojis through text (I was never able to send friendmojis).

Can anyone explain why I am unable to send friendmoji through Snapchat? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Snapchat, but that did not work. Thanks!
