Hi there! Just came over from the dark side of iphone 4. Got a white HTC Vivid. Got a few questions though.

1: using the gmail app. I get emails that have photos but I have to download each pic one by one. Some emails may have 10 photos. Have I missed a setting to get them to automatically download like the did on my iPhone?

2: how do I know how many browser windows I have open? Safari had an icon showing the number.

3: the back of my phone gets really hot. Thought I had burnt my wrist the other day. Is the heat normal?

Good, you came to the right side. 1) No, that's how GMail does it, to save mobile data, you know? Because if you have a set limit, which AT&T does now, it will allow you to decide on downloading or not. 2) Press "Menu" and click "Windows". 3) Yes. But how hot is the question. Androids run a lot more powerful than an excuse for a smartphone iPhone, so they generate more heat. A rule of thumb for me is to keep the temperature under 120 F.

Thanks! Is there a free app that will tell me the temp of the battery??

Yes, would you like me to attach a link to Dropbox to download the app that I use? It's called Battery Indicator Pro. Temp, and other features. And it tells percentage.

When you open the email there should be an option to download all the images automatically. You don't have to do it one by one.
