I used to do stereo photography using an Iloca Stereo Rapid and a Stereo Realist. In the society I belonged to, we used to also make our own special-purpose cameras as well as viewers and other odds and ends. Very enjoyable, but mounting the stereo pairs of slides in double-window mounts, which has to be done with precision, was very time-consuming. This modern development of that technology will be much easier and the viewer should be relatively easy to make.
