From VS98512B to 10B, back to 12B but Rooted

I am on 12B and Stump root didn't work. It stated that a patch was applied and unable to root.

Stump Root won't work from 12B. You have to go back to 10B, which is a long drawn out process that will take you a while, and seem not to be worth it. While it was worth it for me, you have to assess that on your own. The links are in the original post at the top of the page.

Hi. I wanted to know..... what is the difference between the 12B version and Lollipop os? Is is bad? Does it make the battery last less? Does it get hotter? Is Lollipop better or worse? I want to update to Lollipop but I am hesitating since a lot of people just don't update. I am very curuious to know.... I have a white LG G3 32GB from Verizon... model LGVS985W. Android Version 4.4.2. Build number: KVT49L.VS98512B.

I never went back to Lollipop. It was such a pig that I just didn't want to deal with it anymore. Maybe someone can chime in that has upgraded to 5.0 lately.
