From where are you making the jump to the Note 3?

Note 2 to Note 3. Great line of phone and doubt I can use anything else with a smaller screen now.

Had the Galaxy S1 - Captiave; the GPS was useless and as soon as I could left Sammy and got the Atrix. My wife had the S2 Skyrocket and it worked perfectly. Wanting larger screen I jumped on the Note 1 on launch day and never regretted it. Had such good luck with the N1, that I decided to give the Note 2 and try and again fell in love with it. I like to upgrade my devices (as you can tell) so the Note 3 was only enviable. Went into Best Buy and did the pre-order thing. A manager, the cell phone person and the Samsung rep all verified that the pre-orders are expected to be available for pickup in store on 9/27 for AT&T. So pre-order made. We'll see what happen Friday morning...

Recently left Blackberry (before they go bust ) to a Galaxy S2 which has been a real eye opener for me.

Really looking forward to the note 3.

I have the Note II and am excited for the Note 3. I like the Note line in general. The original Note has my favorite form factor and I liked the fact that the US version did not have a home button.

Coming from the Samsung Galaxy Nexus which I got on release day

I have been able to upgrade for a couple months now but have passed on the HTC one and the S4. I almost pulled the trigger on the LGG2 but decided to wait for the Note3. I have wanted a Note phone for a long time. I am a big guy with big hands and big pockets. I see no reason to have a smaller phone when I can have, use, and pocket a phone of this size and quality. The only reason I have not pre-ordered is because I cannot decide which color and want to see them in person first.

Getting an early upgrade and getting rid of my Thunderbolt. Stoked.

I'm coming over from a nexus 4. I have ordered a iPhone 5s but cancelled it to get the note 3. I used to be all iOS but got bored with it so got the nexus 4. I hoped iOS 7 would maybe get me back to apple but no, android now has me in its little green hand.

If I decide to stick with two phones the Note 3 will be replacing my Samsung Droid Charge.

I'm upgrading from my Motorola RAZR and prior to that one I had the Blackberry Storm. When my wife got her Note 2 awhile ago she was really happy (and still is) with the phone. At first I thought the phone was just too big...that idea didn't last more than a day after playing with it. I knew that when they upgraded the Note it would be my next phone. Gradually all my phones have increased in screen size.

Coming from an EVO 4G LTE on Sprint. HTC's hardware is good but their software and support are lacking. Hoping Samsung has changed their ways. Also going from Sprint to Big Red. They have LTE here and Sprint has upgraded zero towers in my town ever since Wimax was introduced. Tired of waiting.

Upgrading from a Note 1 that I got on Launch day

Me too. And for all the finger tapping, and order status checking, at least we're not having to wait for every country in the world to get it first like we did with the original Note! We should be grateful we only have to wait a month from launch this time around! And have you noticed, no mocking reviews this time around, no tech blogger spewing ridicule, ahh, I think they learned their lesson. :D

As someone who purchased the thunderbolt on day one, I commend you for sticking with that phone for as long as you have. I waited anxiously for that phone but it wasn't long before it was a hot mess. Kudos to you and I'm sure you will love the N3.

I have gone from a Blackberry Tour to the OG EVO to the EVO LTE. Played with a Note 2 and it was awesome so I'm thinking the 3 will be just what I want.
