From where are you making the jump to the Note 3?

Coming from a HTC One, selling a SGS3. Will keep Note 3 and HTC One :-) I love my One, but still, a little bigger screen is great for me as I'm reading a lot.

I also was a huge apple guy from 07 on but once jobs died I've seen the software deteriorate rapidly (my iPad 4 has been having a lot of buggy issues over the last 5 months) & the fact they won't make the screen larger is a deal breaker for me.

I hope you're referring to the screen on the iPhone, and not the iPad. Surely the iPad display is large enough?

Iphone 4s, I wont lie, its been a truly great phone but with the 5 and now the 5s so similar I'm bored and decided to go for something completely different.

So, why the departure from BB? And thoughts on today's news about going private? I'm a former BB addict who went rogue a couple years ago and been happier with Android ever since.

The Z10 is a very smooth and fast phone, and I love the Hub and the Peek. I had a BB 9700, went to the Galaxy S2, loved the bigger screen but found Android awkward after awhile. So I went back to my 9700 until the Z10 came out. I know that new OSs take some time to get up to their full potential, but BBRY eliminated almost everything that makes a BB a BB in the new phones, so they are not the same BB phones we all knew and loved. So there are some things that are starting to bug me on the Z10, like lack of customization, hard time finding my apps because they all look the same, and of course the lack of apps that don't seem to be coming to the app store. The browser is blazing fast, and the Hub is fantastic for handling communications, but the multi windows and the S-pen in the N3 look really great for productivity. I'm hoping that I won't be giving up the things I love about the Z10 and will only be gaining in the switch to the N3.

I'm sorry the new BB phones didn't do well because it is a great OS with lots of potential. I don't known if going private is a good thing or not; they may just sell off the company bit by bit. But I hope they can make a really great, cutting edge phone that allows super-productivity and can be competitive in the market.

Coming from my Samsung Galaxy Nexus...bought it on release day and cannot wait.

However...I can't afford it yet...will have to wait for Christmas time. Hopefully, any bugs/issues will be worked out by then. :D

I'm glad to see so many iPhone users try out the Note, more specifically, Android. I talk to so many friends who have only been with the iPhone and believe it to be the hands down, best smartphone experience. The bigger screen, along with the customized UI will blow a lot of newcomers away.

Yes I'm talking about the iPhone screen. Personally I'd like to carry around a note 8 / iPad mini sized phone but that doesn't look like its going to happen in the US anytime soon.

Coming from the redheaded step child of Verizon..... The Galaxy Nexus!!

Verizon cuts a lot of apps out and they make it hard to unlock/root/rom. Plus they cost too much !
I'd never go with them..

But they have the best service. At least for me in Seattle. No good running an unlocked and rooted GN3 running CM or AOKP if I can't make a simple call to my wife from work.

Well here in chicago Att and T-Mobile have the fastest speeds. With Sprint slowly getting faster. Vzw is last due to so many LTE customers on so few towers.

If I didn't travel at all. And didn't work deep inside a 7 story building I would probably switch to AT&T. I think they have the fastest speeds around here. For right now Verizon fits my needs perfectly.

You could always import an ASUS Fone Pad, or Fone Pad note lol. I just couldn't imagine putting an iPad to my ear to make a phone call LOL.

I'm coming from a Note 2 with AT&T Baby!!

Note 2 & 3 with AT&T in my location = GREATNESS!!!

BTW- for all coming from the iPhone welcome to a whole new way of mobile computing!

I'm another iPhone user coming over. I've been on the iPhone since day one. I currently have the 4S. I decided to skip the 5 and let my contract expire. I've done a lot of research and this is a no-brainer. The final straw was iOS7, what a load of crap. Countless common tasks that were once simple now take an extra tap/swipe. I literally can't wait to get the Note 3.

T-Mobile G2 / HTC Desire Z from Feb 2011.
Considered the Note 2, but rumors about the Note 3 were already starting at that time, so I decided to wait.
Also to run out my contract so I had better options to upgrade or switch if needed.
