The issue here is.. there's a donut shaped flat gasket on the front of the FF camera, and the adhesive holding it fails, then it slips down and partially blocks the lens.
Its a pretty easy fix. youtube.com/watch?v=9NNvCRW5PiU The FF camera removal is at 8:08...just do that part. I removed the gasket and the camera works fine without it.
