Front camera stopped working

[AC Question]

Hii. My front camera stopped working. I have a Huawei P8.

It worked just fine last night and everything and this morning, when I tried using it, I noticed it was frozen. Like the main camera would work perfectly, but then, when I switch to front camera, I get the last frame my main camera has captured and nothng else would happen. I tried restarting few times, also unistalling the apps that could possibly use camera.

Hi

Find "Camera" in Application manager, and wipe cache. You can also enter recovery, and wipe the Cache Partition.

update: I also tried factory reset, still not working. means it is a hardware problem?

Welcome to Android Central! After the factory reset, did any apps automatically reinstall? If so, try booting into Safe Mode to make sure none of the installed apps are interfering. On most Android devices, while powered on, press and hold Power until the Power Off menu appears. Press and hold the Power Off selection until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap OK.

I'm having the same issue with my HTC Desire 626 and can't seem to figure out what it is. Like I'll go to put on my front camera and it freezes on whatever you could see in the back camera. I've tried everything at this point that I know of.
