Front Facing Camera Force Close

When I switch to the front facing camera, I get a force close. Only using the stock camera app that came with the phone, going to menu > switch camera and i get this message:

"The application Camera (process com.android.camera) has stopped unexpectedly...."

Weird thing is if I try to use it via a photo app, the camera works.

Anybody else experiencing this? Any solutions?

This is a pretty common issue, but fortunately it has an easy fix!

Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> All -> Camera, then clear the data and/or cache. Should work fine after that.

Happens to me as well. No idea whats causing it. Reboots haven't fixed it either.

Even easier, go to the camera app and go to Menu>Restore Defaults

the solution of your problem remove your memory card on your android phone and insert to other android phone then take picture and save then insert back again to your phone and your camera application back ill expireince that problem before any thing i will do ill reset my phone but did not work one day i borrow my girlfriend andoid phone and insert my memory card to her phone .when ill back to my phone i will use again my camera.
