FROYO and Keyboard Problem - Need Help

After manually updating to froyo on my Incredible, I get an error that says:

Sorry! The application HTC_IME mod (process jonasl.ime) has stopped unexpectedly. Please Try Again. Force Close.

This message comes up whenever the keyboard is suppose to come up. I had a custom keyboard with the "Ohio State" logo on the spacebar.

Can anyone help me. My phone is worthless if the keyboard never comes up. THank you.

Maybe try uninstalling the custom keyboard then check if the stock keyboard works. Then re install the ohio state keyboard and see if it works.

Long press on the input area and select input method then change to the stock keyboard. My guess is the Ohio State keyboard isn't going to work on Froyo only the UM keyboard will work

LOL, thanks for your advice it worked and I got the stock keyboard back up and running. Go Bucks!

yeah, I had a custom made Nike keyboard but it won't work with froyo..but hey the stock keyboard isn't all that bad it has multitouch now!
