Froyo brings twitter!

Froyo installed Twitter. It's .94mb and has no option to "uninstall".

I hated Twitter before this....

The official Twitter client is really bad. I don't know why they force it on us.

Oh, well... at least LauncherPro lets me put it out of sight and out of mind.

You can hide apps in the App Drawer that you don't want to see. It also allows LP to load a bit more quickly.

Yeah, while I'm a Twitter user (though much less nowadays), I've had no interest in the official Twitter client. I was dismayed to see it be one of the first updates after installing Froyo.

Oh well. At least they didn't throw VZ Navigator on there. *That* would be bad.

If you're rooted, you probably already know this, but you can get rid of it using Titanium Backup.
