Froyo For Droid X

I actually stand corrected. My phone is much louder I just had to turn the volume all the way up and didn't realize it wasn't up all the way. Must of went to default after the update cause it was all the way before I updated. Still don't think it is as loud as my friend's droid or cousin's incredible but it is better than no fix at all so I will take it.

Just updated not too long ago and so far so good.

+1

Flash works very well.

I read somewhere on DroidForums that we'll still be able to get the OTA. But even if we can't, we can always SBF back to 2.1 and then do the OTA update.

You can't downgrade to 2.1. Otherwise, id be rooted right now.
Us early updaters on evo thought we would be able to ota too... but we couldn't and we also can't use anything to downgrade to 2.1 again.

Seems to me that there is just a process to do that.

My phone is running great now the flash works great no issues yet

Maybe you can't on the EVO but you sure can on the X. Some people have done it already. MyDroidWorld Exlusive: Droid X Froyo for Everyone including non rooted phones

The builds for the X and EVO are different so who knows. I've heard some people running custom ROMs on the D1 and getting the 2.2 OTA when it came. Lots of people are confident that this leak won't block the OTA update.
