It's way too slow. 3D effect is cool but stock gallery for my evo is much better.

Nope. It's not a Market app. Just download it through your browser.

How fo you make it the default? ?

If there's an app that needs to open a picture, it should ask you which one to use. Choose Gallery. It should use the new one from that point forward. At least that's what it did for me.

I should have stated above that I only tested this on my X. I don't see why it wouldn't install though. Are you using a custom ROM?
