OT: Sadly, Mozilla discontinued v6 releases. The latest ones would crash immediately...

Sorry, the experimental ARMv6 builds are no longer available. They contained bugs that caused them to crash immediately, so they were no longer useful for testing.

While we'd like Firefox to run on as many phones as possible, we are focusing first on devices that can run current versions of Firefox with acceptable performance. As we improve Firefox's speed and memory use, it might become possible for us to support ARMv6 phones in the future, but we are not actively working on it now.

Hello im a Noob, i dont know if any one cares but, the Dolphin HD browser in the market seams to work ive had the Optimus S for about 2 weeks. yes for free its better then the sanyo/kyocera Zio that i started with. thanks to all you folks here by the way i hope to be rooting soon as soon as im sure enough in the process.

Welcome to the party Dorion. My comment was slightly off topic to the original post, and didn't want to cause any tangents. But, Dolphin is a fine browser, it's just not pertinent to this thread.

The guys here put a lot of work into their how-to's so you shouldn't have any problems
