I've got a ( Pro XL and I have an upgrade available to me. Has anyone gone from the 9 Pro XL to the 10 pro XL? And was it worth it? Is the performance much better? How's battery life?

Thanks

I came from the 9 Pro XL and now have the 10 Pro XL. I agree that there isn't much difference between the two. My battery life may be a touch better on the 10 but it's not significant. I think the speakers sound better for sure on the 10 and I'm having better luck with the fingerprint scanner on the 10. I don't think it was changed at all but it's working better for me than the fingerprint scanner did on the 9. I have a tempered glass screen protector on the 10 and had one on the 9. The one on the 10 is made by Spigen and on the 9 I used a cheaper no-name brand so perhaps that's the difference. I'm not unhappy moving to the 10 but if I could do it over, I'd stick with the 9 Pro XL and save the cash.

From the 8 Pro XL to the 9 Pro XL and from that to the 10 Pro XL, each time if you hadn't told me I got a new phone I probably wouldn't have known. Although the 10 is 11g heavier.

I'm thinking I should give it a miss and drop to a cheaper sim only plan, That's until the Pixel 11 arrives or possibly the S27 Ultra before it

Cosmetics you won't see much of a difference.

Bigger battery although not much 200 mah, Qi2 25w wireless charging and 45w wired and now magnet accessories, 100 zoom is definitely better then the I think 30 zoom on pixel 9 pro xl , more enhanced AI if your into that and brighter screen.

Also don't expect anything "major" with this every year a new device cycle. Its only for that have to get the latest version. So if you're happy with the 9, no there is no real need to get the 10.

I find it a bit better in every way. Brighter screen with more accurate colors. Better batterylife and better speakers. Shooting at 50 mp is now instant (9 xl had a short delay) and 50 mp at 30x is also available.

Hey all, so I just thought I'd leave my reviews of the Pixel 10 XL. Upgraded with AT&T during the thanksgiving black Friday deal from a One Plus 12 XL . I had a Pixel 2 from 2018 that I loved and they took the trade any condition any year. So I was like - cool upgrade to a new phone for free. But I have to say , I am just not impressed at all with this phone outside of the camera. Consistent glitches that are annoying - from lock screen the phone doesn't register taps very well - when I say this I mean I plug in my 4 digit pin and it doesn't register one or a few of the numbers meaning I have to do it several times super slow and deliberate. consistent problems with WIFI and Bluetooth connections. Gaming lags to include the screen acting super weird, like my home screen buttons won't pop up when I swipe at the bottom of the screen or tool tray when I swipe down, and when they finally do appear they are not regular size but half size and I a lower right corner. They stay like that even when I exit the game and are hidden under applications. This happens everytime during and after some small gaming sesh's on CoD which I have to restart the phone to correct. Also in game mode if I rotate the phone vertical the game goes to a small half screen box (that no one would ever play in) and when I say rotates is a very long response and to rotates back as well. The battery life is decent lasting a day with heavy use and no charge. The camera IS legit, it has some cool features but also some weird stuff happening as well like when I search up a barcode I use all the time and suddenly the gallery can't seem to find it ( never happened before, no idea how it happened and can't figure out how to fix it). Also the settings on the phone change without my permission like the size of my applications on the home screen go from small to medium without permission which end up putting apps all over the place which is not where I need them. Super annoying. Overall, I honestly will flip this phone and go back to my OnePlus 12 XL just because the annoying little glitches and it operates faster and the battery life is better.
