t h e note 12.2 is pretty great, but i now have a lot of frustration with hword, which is one of the reasons i bought the tablet about a year ago. I actually sold my macbook air to use the pro as a laptop replacement. I use a samsung bluetooth keyboard and samsung bluetooth mouse. A nice set up. BUT hword has become diffucult on my eyes. And since there is NO large, dark seeable cursor, it becomes very frustrating moving around the large files i work with. There is only one large cursor app in the entire android app universe and it sucKs. For my latest writing project i actually returned to my desk top mac to avoid the frustration and time consuming of trying to find insertion points etc with the all but invisible stock and add on cursors. I'm now thinking of selling the 12 and getting a laptop again. I also have the note 10.1 2014 and note 8. Anyone have any Ideas?

Go to Settings>Accessibility, and see if there are any settings to modify the contrast and improve visibility.

Thats funny timing. I started using my mouse again and noticed somehow that the cursor looks like <----> instead of your normal arrow and I have no idea how to change it back.

You can now get Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for the tablet for free from the Play store.

Fully unlocked for free, or do you need to have an Office 365 subscription on this larger tablet to gain edit functionality? Last I checked it was the latter.

I checked and you are correct. I was thinking it was free for editing as well.

Outlook is free for full functionality and I was mistakingly thinking that applied to the other Office apps.

Ok yeah. I'm paying the subscription and am using mobile office software on multiple devices. I dumped Hancom since it doesn't fit my needs.

I use an apple magic track pad and it works well. The cursor is a spot, but down to the right of the spot is a bright light blue spot and I never have any problems finding the mouse cursor. Plus you can scroll with two fingers. I also prefer officesuite 8 to him.

I recently dumped Hancom due to printing & other. Went back to OfficeSuitePro. It works well. Microsoft has started a big push to get it's software on Android and IOS. First version of Word is available for smaller Android tablets. Since the only mobile device that sells for them is SurfacePro I think they are getting reasonable.
