Well since said tower issues are on deck for me I drove into the city to see if things were any better and from the looks of it...hell to the NO [0.94Mb/s]
I will repeat what I mentioned earlier.
First post: If you consistently have speeds under 150Kb/s, even late at night, contact Sprint and have them "reprovision" you and update your data profile.
Second post: My advice was to contact Sprint if your speed is consistently under 150Kb/s (which it appears yours is) because your phone could be stuck in 2G mode (happened to me) and they CAN fix that.
Complaining on the forum is not going to change anything...
Buddy I'm not complaining....and I did contact sprint if you read what I said earlier...they claimed the tower I was near was having issues....so I did a test elsewhere and had same results and this was after reprovisioning my phone...I don't look at it as complaining I look at is asking a question to see if others are having the same exp.
Sorry, I must have missed or overlooked where you had contacted Sprint and they reprovisioned it. I know this has solved a VERY similar problem with my last phone and a few people I know had similar issues that were resolved with finally reaching a good tech at Sprint.
Also, it is actually important that you seek out other Sprint users in your immediate area and test/compare.
Sprint reprovisioned my data account....went from 88kbs to 500kbs. Thanks !Sorry, I must have missed or overlooked where you had contacted Sprint and they reprovisioned it. Well, although I didn't help the OP much, I am glad it helped YOUIt appears to be a fairly common problem with some phones getting stuck in 2G-only mode and even though the display says "3G", it is a lie.
