Full reboot.

Is there anyway to do a full reboot on the Nexus 5. Rebooting it by holding the power button or power off and turning it back on it just does a fast quick reboot. I looked everywhere and I still can't believe I can't fully reboot this thing. All I was able to find was to do a factory reset and erase the device. Okay I am going to erase everything on my phone just to fully reboot it. There has to be a easier way to do this I just can't find out how.

Boot into Recovery and select reboot system now, although this is the same as powering off and powering on again.

You could try wiping the cache partition if you want to clear out temporary system data.

I did both of them. .I am just worried because I forced stopped many apps, when I reboot it still shows them stopped and I wanted to do a full reboot where it would load them again so they won't have problems.

They won't start again until the system or you, the user, requests the app to open.
