Turn the Moto 360 “flat tire” into a feature with a 99 cent watch face
The Moto 360 may have been the first Android Wear smartwatch to feature a round design… but the display doesn’t actually make use of the whole circle. The watch has a 320 x 290 pixel display, with a small black area at the bottom. Some folks have taken to calling this the “flat tire.”

Find the flat tire ugly? There’s a third-party watch face for the Moto 360 that can make it pretty.

Watch Face – Minimal & Elegant is a $0.99 app that displays weather, time, and custom fonts. But its killer feature might be the “Little Worlds” add-on that lets you customize the bottom of the screen.

Little Worlds are basically drawings that sit just above the flat tire… and the best of them incorporate it into their design.

You can design your own Little World or download some of those shared by other users. There are city skylines, sports scenes and logos, animals, and more. Some of the most entertaining are… from the entertainment section, where you’ll find an MSTK world, a Mad Men logo, and other familiar scenes.

Sure, there’s no way to turn the little black bar on the Motor 360 into anything other than a black bar… but this is a rather nifty way to make it look like it’s supposed to be there.

I like this but I just cant seem to figure out how to add the photo everything I have tried just doesn't work.

I like it. I bought it. But what would really be useful is the ability to combine the effect with other watch faces so you could disguise the flat tire in combination with other watch faces. While I like the flat tire "disguise", I''m not a huge fan of the rest of the watch face. Still, a very nice use of what is widely considered a shortcoming of the 360.

Append: I should add that the esthetic of the watch face is fine -- I just have poor vision; so there's no "fault" in the overall design beyond my personal visual shortcomings.

Dungoyle,
Have you tried Flip Clock by the same developer? Also has the little world feature and the numbers are bigger.
