Frustrated because I can't get it to recognize the apps that I have installed. I'm troubleshooting this for my husband and he just keeps saying "well, I don't think it works...."

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have a G Pad F 8.0? How are you installing the apps--from the Google Play Store?
