G2 Camera App on N5?

Curious if anyone knows of any work being done to bring over LG G2 camera app to the Nexus 5. In my mind, being both LG products, I can see this as a possibility (and the one thing I find lacking on this Nexus phone is that extra-swank camera functionality), but then again I'm guessing there's more to it than wishful thinking.

Anyways, as it would be a pretty good hack/upgrade to bring that over, does anyone know of that being in the works, or a possibility?

I have a feeling they won't bring it over as they like to keep things as simple as possible on the Nexus devices. Heck, we're lucky the camera app is as nice as it is.

Probably better off grabbing a better camera app from the app store. I've read that several of them work pretty well so it in addition to the lack of features, things like focus timing works great on those.

Yeah I've thought about that, but I'm fairly positive it would lose the HDR+ ability, which I like (slow focus and all -- the pictures are really nice with it). Kinda hoping an LG-sourced camera app would be able to keep that (as well as the smooth-scroll panorama, photosphere, etc)(=
