G2 sometimes lags a little

Is this normal? It will lag when doing something for the first time in a while. For example, let's say I haven't touched my phone in 30 minutes and I unlock it and open the phone app. If I try clicking the tabs up top such as "recent" or "contacts" or "favorites" it will lag pretty noticeably. Once I switch tabs a few times, the lag disappears. Same goes for the app drawer, although the lag there that occurs the first time I open it in a while and swipe is much less noticeable.

Anyone experience these symptoms?

Depends on your definition of noticeable. This is by far the fastest phone I've ever used.

It lags at times. Just the nature of a skinned Android device. Although my One seems smoother, this G2 has been the only Android device I've been satisfied with in a while. It's a keeper.

Why do you like the G2 more then the one? I absolutely love the bezels on the G2, its gorgeous. However, the body on the one is irresistible.

For the way a phone feels, the One is my favorite. But over all I felt like something was missing with the One. Maybe because I waited so long for it (Verizon) that I wasn't as excited when I finally got it. There's just something about the G2 that draws me to it. Maybe the larger screen and the features it has.
